How Does Name-Based Grouping Work?

Files are grouped by their base name — the part before the extension. For example, invoice_jan.pdf, invoice_jan.jpg and invoice_jan_2.png all share the same base name invoice_jan and will be merged into one PDF called invoice_jan.pdf.
